Bang Tao, one of the longest beaches in Phuket with a length of 6 kilometres also famous with Laguna beach which located in the middle of Bang Tao.

It is a large open bay which is known nowadays as one of the luxury resorts in Phuket. An area is famous for Laguna brand 5-star hotels, great golf courses, and a few world’s beach clubs.
Some areas are still not developed, especially on the northern side of the beach where you can find the only luxury villas. In the upcoming seasons, Bang Tao area will attract more visitors with opening new Blue Tree aquapark and shopping mall Porto De Phuket from the Central group.

The sea is calm from November to April and is great for swimming, actually Bang Tao area known as a beach for family holidays. Those who a more quiet and private atmosphere should visit Layan Beach, which is untouched by humans and less packed by tourists.
Mini Golf Club – a classic 18-hole miniature golf course set in a beautifully landscaped garden located in the middle of Bang Tao beach (nearby Amora hotel). It is the perfect activity for the whole family with even small kids, the best time to play is after 5-6 PM, when the sun goes down a bit and after you can enjoy dining in the restaurant there.
Catch Beach Club – is a high-quality bar, restaurant and lounge spot, and night club just right on the beautiful Bangtao Beach. With a beachfront location with delicious food and drinks and trendy music by famous DJs, it is one of the top chill-out spots and a popular party venue at night.
Dream Beach Club – is a stylish place to relax on Layan Beach. Part of the world-renowned Dream brand from New York City, it is one of not many clubs in Phuket which is right by the sand, with two swimming pools, 4 bars, and plenty sun loungers.
Anthem Wake Park – is the perfect place to try out or practice wakeboarding in a natural environment, where a friendly professional team can support you.
Horseback – riding on a tropical beach is a great leisure activity in sunset time. The Phuket International Riding Club is a long-established centre located near the entrance of Laguna Resort which offers a good choice of riding lessons and rides for the whole family.

Bang Tao is the most family-friendly area in Phuket, far from the busy nightlife in Patong. The area is good for all budgets and tastes. Perfect for those who prefer a peaceful tropical life away from city noise and wild parties. There are many luxury European restaurants around this area, but residents will also find a selection of street food stalls.

Villas is the property that you can find most in Bang Tao, but there are also a lot of townhouses, condos, and apartments available.The villas come in different sizes and styles and buyers can choose from 2 bedrooms to 6 bedroom villas with modern or Thai style. Townhouses usually have 2 or more bedrooms, they are not as spacious as villas, most of the townhouses have private pools but not large outdoor areas and less privacy between neighbours.
